Facebook released their email service, but as you can see in the video below its not email, but connects to it. Its Facebook’s way of trying to really take on Google. I know one issue they are going to run into, many corporations by default block facebook.com and emails from it, I wonder how that is going to turn out. I think its a neat thing to have in FB, but I can’t see myself using it like I do my regular email, as I already have an established email address. If anything, it provides some good ground work for Microsoft to steal the the technology in the next go around of Exchange and Outlook 🙂 For a better idea what Facebook’s email service is all about, check out the video below.
