Coats, Scarves, and Gloves for the Homeless
Donations are being accepted until November 30th, 2018.
FERNDALE, MI – Fuse Technology Group of Ferndale recently partnered with Team Wellness Center of Detroit to provide coats, scarves, and gloves of any size, new or gently used, to the homeless. Items can be dropped off at Fuse Technology Group north office, 2222 Hilton. Besides accepting, Fuse will be approaching local businesses and government offices to serve as stations where items may be donated. A list of drop off locations is listed on the company’s website www.fusetg.com.
Since 2002, Team Wellness Center has been providing exceptional services and care to adult members with severe and chronic mental illness in Southeast Michigan. The Center’s two clinics serve over 4750 unique members each year. Team Wellness Center is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals by providing an array of comprehensive behavioral and physical services in an environment that promotes quality of life, continuous improvement and social awareness. http://teamwellnesscenter.com/
“With the winter season approaching there are many of our members who are in desperate need for warm clothing,” says Pamela Jastrabek, President of Team Wellness Center. “When mentioning our coat drive to Pete Sanders of Fuse, he stated his organization wanted to do more than donate a few coats. Fuse became a partner with us in efforts to really knock this thing out of the park.”
“Every year around the holiday season we like to pick a charity or cause to throw our weight behind,” says Sanders, Founder of Fuse Technology Group, a business IT and managed service provider. “When I was young, many charitable causes helped when my family was in need and this is our way of giving back. Donations can be made until November 30th, 2018.
“In this day and age people take for granted something as simple as a coat or warm winter item, and in many cases a simple donation can be the difference between life and death during our usually harsh winter season.”
