We are hearing as of late that many computers are running slow. Usually this is caused by memory. The common belief is that if you clear things from your hard drive, it will run faster. However, this is not the case. The usual cause is memory. Now many say, “Well it was running just fine, what changed?” The change is updates! Windows updates and application updates can take up more of the computer’s memory causing it to run slower.
There is some good news though, memory is often cheap. For around $50-$80 dollars you can double the amount of memory currently have. And it takes less than 15 minutes per computer for us to install. The best part about it is that you will immediately notice the increase in performance.
